Lizzie Mae Holland, 81, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born February 24, 1944, in Sedgwick, AR, to Roscoe and Artie (Fry) Doyle. Lizzie worked for Quad Graphics until retiring. She was a loving mother and MaMa. Lizzie loved her babies, they were her entire world. She enjoyed her retirement years by spending time with her grandbabies, working numerous jigsaw puzzles, and traveling. Her faith was very important in her life and she instilled that in her children and grandchildren.
She lived her last three years at The Villas in the Memory Care Unit. She made many wonderful friends and enjoyed all the crafts and activities, especially bingo.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Billy Holland; and three brothers and one sister.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Lizzie include her two daughters, Tonya (Rick) Mathes and Tracey (Mike) Bassett; four grandchildren, Shane, Lauren, Morgan and Sean; six great-grandchildren, Lyla, Stella, Jaxon, Emery, Holland, and Carter; one brother, Jessie Doyle; one sister, Janice Holland; and many nieces and nephews.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Monday, November 10, 2025, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Ardell Polk officiating. Burial will follow at Herman Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service and begin at 1 pm.

Mike, Rick, Shane, Sean, Shawn, Trenton, Jax and Carter will serve as pallbearers. The staff and residents of St. Bernards Villa Memory Care unit will serve as honorary pallbearers.
