Jamie Ply

of Summit, AR

April 21, 1973 - October 31, 2025

James Garvin (Jamie) Ply of Summit, Arkansas was born on April 21, 1973 in Boone County and entered into rest on October 31, 2025 at the age of 52.

Jamie will be remembered as a fun-loving sportsman, athlete and avid baseball card collector, as well as a generous friend and devoted son. During his years at Yellville-Summit High School, Jamie played football, baseball, basketball and ran track. He was a formidable opponent and set several athletic records before graduating in 1992.

He is survived by one daughter, Macie Nicole Ply (McElroy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; his parents, Larry and Patricia Ply of Summit, Arkansas; one brother, Torie Ply of Summit, Arkansas and four nephews, Jonathan, Joshua, Jeremiah and Jaron Ply.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Ruth Paxton and Garvin and Edna Ply.

Jamie left too soon from this world, but the mark he left on the lives he touched won't be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his friends and family.

A visitation will be held at Roller-Burns Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:00 am with a Graveside service directly following at 12:00 pm at Georges Creek Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.
