Harvey E. Turner Sr., of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 90, in Mountain Home. He served in the Army (Korea) and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Mississippi. He was affectionately known as ''Little Man'' to many people. He owned and operated ''Little Man's Mobil'' service station for many years with his long-time friend and business partner, Curtis Williams. Later, he worked at Powell's True Value (then Joe's True Value) before retiring in his 80s.
Harvey is survived by four children: Cindy Cole (Lane), Harvey ''Bubba'' Turner Jr. (Dee Dee), Mike Turner (Patricia), and Lee Turner, all of Mountain Home; five grandchildren: Lindsey Turner Sanders (Michael), Carson White, and Blaine White, all of Mountain Home, and Samara and Cindy Kay Turner of Indiana, and two siblings: Mike Turner of Jackson, Mississippi and Berniece Kelly of Water Valley, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Turner of Mountain Home, parents: J.B. and Annie Turner of Ruleville, Mississippi, and a sister: Betty Ann Brewer of Jackson, Tennessee.
A visitation will be held between 12-1:00pm at Roller Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2025, with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Walker Road Cemetery with pallbearers: Lonnie Williams, Carson White, Michael Sanders, Heath Williams, and Justin Williams. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Walker Road Cemetery fund, 216 Roundup Ln., Mountain Home, AR 72653, c/o Karen Edwards.
