James G. Meredith, 67, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at home in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on September 7, 1958 to Jake and Faye (Simpson) Meredith in Clarksville, Arkansas.

James worked as a logger by trade for many years. He had a black belt in Karate and taught his brothers and son, Joshua, this martial arts discipline.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vicki Meredith; his son, Joshua Meredith; his father, Jake Meredith and his brother, Randy Meredith.

James is survived by his son, Tyler and wife, Loni, Meredith of Lamar; three grandchildren, Kristen, Caden and Emma Meredith; his mother, Faye Meredith; two sisters, Lorena and husband, Ricky Moody, Wanda and husband, Curtis Wallace; one brother, Benny and wife, Mitzi, Meredith; two stepdaughters, Jessica Watson and Kelly Watson; one stepson, Charles Watson and numerous other family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
