of Conway, AR
September 29, 1952 - October 17, 2025
Sandra Goodwin, 73, of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 17, 2025, following a brief battle with cancer.
Sandra was born on September 29, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. She married Wayne Goodwin on January 18, 1969. While life holds many uncertainties, one thing was always clear, Sandra's unwavering love for her family. She loved her son and daughter (and their spouses), but her pride and joy were her nine grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them no matter what they were doing. She enjoyed shopping, cheering on NASCAR races, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football, though not necessarily in that order. She was a tiny little Memaw with a big personality and she will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish Sandra's memory include her son, Jimmy (Hope) Goodwin of Vilonia; her daughter, Sonya (Michael) Burks of Glen Rose; and her nine beloved grandchildren: Zachary Burks, Trenton Mann, Gabriel (Emma) Goodwin, Elijah Goodwin, Lauren Goodwin, Matthew Goodwin, Carson Burks, Cohen Carter, and Caden Burks.
She is also survived by a nephew who held a special place in her heart, Chris (Lorie) Goodwin; her brothers, Wayne Willoughby and William (Julie) Willoughby; and her sisters, Wanda Willoughby-Fye, Nancy (Skip) Myers.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne Goodwin; her mother, Bernice Willoughby; and her sisters, Delilah Clawson, Martha Mullins, Darlene Adams, and Frances White.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the caring staff at CARTI of Conway and Baptist Health Medical Center of Conway, especially Dr. Rosario Guestella, for the amazing care and support provided during this difficult time.
Services will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas, with visitation on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and the funeral on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to John 3:16 Ministries in Charlotte, Arkansas or Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas in Sandra's memory.
Sandra's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
