Bobby Joe Cypert

Bobby Joe Cypert, age 91 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this earthly life to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at Highland Court in Marshall, AR. He was born in Morning Star, Arkansas in the back of the country store that his parents operated on August 30th, 1934 to Vernon Lester Cypert and Mary Famie (Treadwell) Cypert. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sara, and his brother-in-law Ted Morrison. He was raised in Harriet and graduated from high school at Big Flat.
Bob was married to Sara Lou (Wilcox) Cypert for 56 years before her death in 2017.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army working as a Speed Radio Operator. He worked as a drywaller traveling the country. Bob worked for Petit Jean Electric for 29 years, many of those as the district manager. He was a member of Marshall First Baptist Church, serving as a deacon for many years and recently attended Morning Star Baptist Church. Bob was devoted to his wife Sara and was a loving father and papa. He loved his family and spending time together.
Bob was highly respected in the community and a man you could always count on. He loved sharing stories and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed raising cattle on his farm. He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered.
Survivors include his son, Tim Cypert and wife Dani of Marshall; two grandchildren, Joshua Cypert and wife Hannah Jo of Siloam Springs, AR and Hannah Faith (Cypert) Maricle and husband David of Lee's Summit, MO; great granddaughter, Jayna Maricle and one great granddaughter due in December; one sister, JoAnn Morrison of Springdale, AR; nephews Randy Morrison of Fort Smith, AR; Steve Morrison of Springdale, AR; and niece Nandra (Morrison) Campbell of Fayetteville, AR; along with several cousins and many friends.
Funeral services for Bob will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 20th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas where Bob will be laid to rest with military honors beside his precious wife, Sara. Bearers will be Joshua Cypert, David Maricle, Tim Cypert, Steve Morrison, Randy Morrison and Michael Campbell. Honorary bearers will be John Watts, James Sanders, and Bob's Petit Jean Electric coworkers.
