Wallace ''Russell'' Scaife, Sr. was born May 6, 1937to Moses Greenberry Scaife and Pearl Russell Scaife of Bottleneck, Ar.

Russell was proceeded in death by both parents, his brothers, Roy, Charner, Kenneth, Lewis, Gene, Hal, John, Billy Brooks and his three sisters, Lucille, Louise (Totsie) and Elizabeth (Baby sister). Russell was the baby of the family.

Russell has been married to his Martha Jane Scaife since November of 1960.

Martha has lived an exemplary example as a loving, devoted wife, while fulfilling her duties of a Christian wife his entire life.

Russell is survived by his and Martha's family with a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and others.

He has one son preceding him. Joel Wayne Scaife, whom he shared his love of hunting, fishing and love of life with him.

He has three surviving children, one son, Wallace Russell Scaife Jr. (Lesa) of Nesbit, MS and his children, Niki and Thomas Boals, with Hailee, Angie, AJ, Andrew and Riley of Lexa, Arkansas; Natalie and Lance Flournoy with Keely and Kaydence of Moon Lake, MS; Holli Williams with Carter and Caleb of Marianna, AR; one daughter, Rita Warfield of Marvell, AR who has been her parents caregiver since 2010; a second daughter, Renee and Rick Wilson of Hot Springs, AR with Renee's daughter Angala and AJ Tart with Angala's daughter Eden Eversone also from Hot Springs.

Russell was a member of the Church of Christ.

Per Russell's personal request, a graveside service was held with immediate family only.
