James Billy Thomas, Jr., 77, of North Little Rock passed away on October 4, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1948 in North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his father, James Billy Thomas, Sr.; his mother, Clara Mae Jones; sister, Brenda Kay Thomas and stepfather, Jimmy Jones. He also leaves behind cousins, Nancy Carson and Judy Clements.

James was an avid Razorbacks fan. He dedicated 36 years of service to the City of Little Rock Sanitation Department.

James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda; daughter, Pam Thomas and husband, Mike Yarbro and their children, Jessica Thomas, AJ Yarbro and Candy Thomas; son, Steven Thomas and wife, Jane and their children, Jackson Richardson, Liam Thomas and Finley Thomas and brother-in-law, Delbert L. Tochterman.
