Lois Rather, 91, of Farmington, Arkansas went home to be with her precious Savior, Jesus Christ on October 7, 2025. She was born to Johnny Allen Sisk and Maude Jane (Corter) Sisk on October 28, 1933. She married Vernon Lee Rather on April 20, 1956. She was a member of Mountain Home Bible Church and attended Main Street Baptist Church of Farmington since moving to Farmington. She was the example of a godly woman who loved her God with all her heart and showed it by her daily actions. All who knew her loved her.

Lois lived her life working with her husband at camps for young people and helping lead others to Christ. She worked at Marbax Shirt Company until her retirement in 1998. She will be remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as the most loving mother, grandmother and ''GG'' her children could ever have and will truly be missed by all.

Lois is survived by two daughters, Ella Bailey (John) of Farmington and Liz Osnes (Randy) of Farmington; son, Paul Rather (Sheila) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Michael Bailey of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Scott Bailey (Arielle) of Fayetteville, Shambrey Walker (John) of Farmington, Austin Osnes (Andi) of Booneville, Arkansas, Madison Hill (Eric) of Farmington, Rylee Rather (Jaden) of Mountain Home, Mason Rather of Mountain Home; eight great-grandchildren, all of whom she absolutely adored; sister, Erma Stevens of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and many nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Rather; three brothers, GW, Charles and JD and four sisters, Colima, Zona, Dorothy and Jean.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Baxter Memorial Gardens with interment to follow.
