Peggy Marconi, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi, at the age of 74, surrounded by family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Jane Thomas; her brother, Britton Thomas and her brothers-in-law, Keith Faulkner and Steve Warhurst.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Marconi; her children, Jenni Marconi of West Memphis and Jay Marconi (Kelly) of Fayetteville and her four grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Alexis Keathley, Ellen-Claire Keathley, George Marconi and Harris Marconi. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jane Faulkner of Greenwood, MS and Frankie Warhurst of Marion; her sister-in-law, Susie Raines of Crawfordsville and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Marconi (Joan) and Phil Marconi (Mary) both of Marion.
Born in Elaine, Arkansas on October 23, 1950, Peggy lived a life full of warmth, kindness and devotion to her family. She was married to the love of her life, Larry Marconi, for 52 wonderful years. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter in West Memphis, Arkansas, where they raised their two children, Jenni and Jay Marconi.
Family was at the heart of everything Peggy did. She made it a priority to nurture close bonds with her children, grandchildren and sisters, leaving behind a legacy of love and togetherness. She was a woman of quiet strength and gentle spirit who brought beauty and peace into the world. She had a special gift for making those around her feel cherished and seen. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life reading a good book, tending to her flower garden, playing games with loved ones and feeling the sand between her toes on trips to the beach. Holidays were her favorite time of year, when her home would be filled with the sounds of family, laughter and love.
Peggy's legacy is one of love, grace and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
To honor her life a funeral service will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis at 12 noon on Friday, October 3, 2025, with visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2nd. A graveside service will follow at Crittenden County Memorial Park.
