Debra Anne Hiett

of Beebe, AR

February 19, 1977 - September 23, 2025

Debra Anne Gouin Hiett entered the presence of her Heavenly Lord on September 23, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1977, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Ray and Phyllis Gouin.

A graduate of Searcy High School, Class of 1995, Debra demonstrated determination from an early age. While still in high school, she attended Searcy Beauty College and earned her Cosmetology License. After many successful years in cosmetology, she felt called to pursue her true passion caring for others in the medical field.

Debra began her nursing journey as a CNA before attending ASU Searcy to become an LPN. She went on to complete her Associate Degree in Nursing at ASU Beebe, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Most of her career was devoted to geriatrics, where her patients and their families benefited from her caring nature.

Beyond her career, Debra was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her children. She loved exploring the Natural State, whether fishing, hunting, hiking, or simply being outdoors. Some of her happiest memories were made traveling to the beach, attending sporting and church events, horseback riding, bowling, and watching movies together. Her children were truly the greatest joys of her life.

Debra gave her life to Christ at a young age and stood firm in her faith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Beebe.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Cooper Gouin; her maternal grandparents, William ''Buster'' and Coyle Cooper; and her paternal grandparents, Albert and Elia Gouin. She is survived by her father, Ray Gouin; her children, Corie Vaughan and Warren and Ava Hiett; her sisters, Donna (Kelly) Kendrick, Denise (Steven) Beaumont, and Diane (John) Killough; her nieces and nephews, Tyler Beaumont, Kyle Kendrick, Zach (Sarah) Beaumont, Katie (Jackson) Mealor, William Killough, and Emma Killough; her great-nephew, Myles Beaumont; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held on October 6, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Beebe, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Daughters of the Other Side, P.O.
