Alison Bell Johnson

of Searcy, AR

April 6, 1962 - September 29, 2025

Alison Bell Johnson was born on April 6, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed from this life on September 29, 2025 in Searcy, Arkansas.

Alison lived a life full of curiosity, generosity and adventure. She loved to travel and was always planning her next trip. A lifelong learner, she delighted in taking classes, whether studying rocks, learning the art of stained glass or exploring new crafts. In recent years, she discovered a passion for disc golf, enjoying time outdoors playing with Ronald, where she often had the upper hand.

Her kind and giving spirit touched many. Alison was known for keeping her car full of little gifts she affectionately called ''happys'' to brighten the days of her friends and family. She also devoted countless hours volunteering at "His House", where she combined her love for helping others with her talent for finding bargains, often scouring the internet to secure good deals for those she served.

Alison had a deep love for animals. She even once owned a pack of seven wolves. Horses brought her joy as a young rider and throughout her life she treasured the companionship of her dogs. Her beloved Ollie was even able to visit her in the hospital, a comfort in her final days.

She also found joy in nature's beauty. Having lived in Hawaii as a young adult, Alison delighted in sharing travel tips with others headed there. Later, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by visiting Antarctica on a cruise with the love of her life, Ronald, a journey that became her favorite of all. Together, they enjoyed four additional cruises, including trips to Israel and across the Atlantic, as well as a special two-week stay in Hawaii.

Professionally, Alison worked as a commodity trader and investment banker. She studied at Arkansas State University and was close to completing her bachelor's degree.

Alison's greatest desire was to please Jesus. She grew in her faith through her church and her friendships and she was a loyal companion to those around her. After her mother moved to "The Springs", Alison faithfully visited every day to patiently feed her lunch and to read aloud from the Bible and a commentary.

Alison is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald, with whom she shared five wonderful years of marriage and travel. She is also survived by her mother, Alice Flynn Bell of Searcy; her sister, Aliska Bell of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her nephew, Jason McGee, his wife, Shannon and their son, Liam of Paso Robles, California; her aunt, Jean Spradlin of Atlanta, Georgia and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Li Johnson and their children, Lynn and Caleb Johnson of Searcy. She was preceded in death by her father, Darol Bell.

Alison will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, generous heart, steadfast faith and the joy she brought into the lives of others, especially to Ronald.
