Gary Caples, 67, of Jonesboro died Sunday, August 20 at St. Bernard's MedicalCenter. Born in Bono, he lived all of his life in the Bono and Jonesboro area. He was a retired Rough Rice manager for Riceland Foods, served on the Bono City Council for 15 years, and was an active member of First Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro where he served as a trustee and usher.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Caples of the home; a son and his wife, Brian and Lanelda Caples of Rose Bud; two brothers and their wives Gaylon and Helen Caples of Bono, Rick and Diane Caples of Mountain Home; and two grandchildren Brett Caples and Carissa Caples, both of Rose Bud.

He was preceded in death by his parents Garland and Lillie Caples.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church with Mike Glover and Carl Neal officiating. Burial will follow in OldEnterpriseCemetery.

Pallbearers will include the deacons and trustees of First Assembly of God Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
