It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexis Domonique Works, age 35, who departed this life on August 31, 2025, in Little Rock. She was the beloved daughter of Katrina Broadnax and James Edward Works, III.

Alexis was a proud graduate of Wilbur D. Mills High School, having attended Daisy Bates and Watson Elementary School. She cherished spending time with her children and family, enjoying every moment she had with them. Alexis was also known for her deep connection to the Wrightsville Community, where she created lasting friendships and cherished memories.

She leaves behind her loving children, Delliah Works, Delarie Works, Gizelle Encalade, Kase Bazelle, Sophie Works, and Brielle Allen. Alexis is also survived by her grandparents, Barbara Dandridge and Richard Broadnax and their (Papa), Robert E. Williams; siblings; four sisters, Tiana Howard Kieara Montgomery, Kesha Robinson Works and Jordan Works and two brothers, Brelyn D. London and James Works, IV. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR. A visitation will be from 6:00pm until 7:00pm Friday, September 12, 2025 at the funeral home.

Rest in peace dear Alexis. Your brilliance will forever echo in our hearts.
