Robert ''Bob'' Daniel Axel, 89, of Yellville passed away at home on September 5, 2025.

Born July 1, 1936 to Charlie and Mildred Axel in Merrill, Oregon. His parents and grandparents were ranchers and dairy farmers. He married Karla Bray Jammes on May 21, 1976.

Bob was a very talented man; he did artwork, built birdhouses, did crafting and wood carving.

Bob started working as a youth at Carter Lake Creamery. He started his working career with Pacific Power and Light Co., starting as a meter reader before retiring was a system dispatcher, working for 32+ years. The Axels made their way to Yellville, Arkansas to retire in 1992.

In his spare time, he loved fishing, gardening, bird watching and being outdoors.

Bob is survived by his wife, Karla Axel and his children, Andrew Axel and Karri Axel and Steven Axel.

He attended First Presbyterian Church. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
