Robert ''Bob'' Daniel Axel, 89, of Yellville passed away at home on September 5, 2025.

He was born July 1, 1936 to Charlie and Mildred Axel in Merrill, Oregon. His parents and grandparents were ranchers and dairy farmers. He married Karla Bray Jammes on May 21, 1976.

Bob was a very talented man, he did art work, built birdhouses, did crafting and woodcarving.

Bob started working as a youth at Carter Lake Creamery. He started his working carrier with Pacific Power and Light Co. starting as a meter reader and before retiring was a system dispatcher, working for 32+ years. The Axels made their way to Yellville, Arkansas to retire in 1992.

In his spare time, he loved fishing, gardening, bird watching and being outdoors.

Bob is survived by his wife, Karla Axel; his children, Andrew Axel and Karri Meyers; his grandchildren and great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his children, Charles Axel, Barbara Axel and Steven Axel.

He attended First Presbyterian Church. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
