Bobby Joe Starkey, age 92, went peacefully to be with our Lord on Thursday morning September 4th, 2025. He was born on September 9, 1932 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Samuel Q. Starkey and Gertrude Langford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Montine (Anthony) and Emma Lou (Tyler) and five brothers, Vick, Sam, Jake, Carlos and Bill Starkey, as well as his cherished wife of 55 years, Betty Reed Starkey.

Those left to cherish Bobby's memory include three loving children, one daughter and son in law, Danita and John Webb; two sons and daughters in law, Reed and Connie Starkey and Marty and Traci Starkey; And cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Kayla, Michael, Ryan, Kurt and Will; as well as loving great grandchildren, Kaci, Tyler, Jackson, Kelsey, Whitney, Liam, Charlotte and Emelia; And special friend, Peggy Sturgis; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and adopted family and friends.

Bobby was a professional truck driver and was recognized for achieving one-million-miles without an accident. Throughout his career he never spent a night away from home, leaving he and Betty to attend their children's functions, ballgames or spend the weekend on the lake. He will be mourned and missed by many but we rejoice that his eternity is secure, so join us in celebrating his life and the exceptional example he set.

A visitation will be held on what would have been Bobby's 93rd birthday, Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 9:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
