Jeffrey (Jeff) Lyn Wittenburg, 55, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on August 9, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas after a courageous battle with ALS.
Jeff was born on February 19, 1970 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He grew up in Conway, where he lived for most of his life. A graduate of Conway High School, he attended the University of Central Arkansas before earning a degree in finance from the University of Arkansas. Jeff built a successful career in the technology sector, working as a Project Manager for most of his professional life, passing down his interest in and understanding of technology to his son from a young age.
Jeff was deeply devoted to both his family and his community, generously sharing his time, expertise and resources with local organizations. He and his wife spent countless hours supporting and participating in their local theater company, reflecting his belief in the importance of the arts. An avid artist himself, Jeff had a keen eye for photography and composition that he shared with his daughter. He captured scenes that ranged from the everyday moments of Arkansas life to the vibrant scenes he encountered on his international travels.
A passionate traveler, Jeff loved immersing himself in new places and perspectives. He shared with his family a deep appreciation for music of all kinds and together they built a life rich with creativity and passion. He was happiest outdoors, hiking, spending time with his dogs or simply exploring, but for Jeff, any activity was made better by the company of his loved ones. Though adventurous by nature, he was steadfast in his commitment to keeping his family safe, cared for and happy.
Jeff possessed a brilliant mind and a remarkable breadth of knowledge, able to find solutions to almost any challenge, whether tackling a home renovation or helping with homework. He loved his children deeply and made it a priority to attend their games, concerts and performances, no matter how busy life became. Known for his sharp mind, wit, curiosity and generosity, he was a devoted husband, father and friend.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Ann Hines Wittenburg Faubus; his father, Donald Wayne Wittenburg and his brother, Ricky Don Wittenburg; as well as his maternal grandparents, Dovie Grace Branscum Hines and Theodore Edward ''Ted'' Hines and his paternal grandparents, Pauline Louise Frances Wittenburg and John Robert Wittenburg.
