Celebrating a Life of Faith, Family, Learning and Contribution

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved family member, a devoted Christian and accomplished aerospace engineer, at the age of 87. He departed this world peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of faith, intellectual curiosity and unwavering integrity.

A Passion for Aerospace Communication

From a young age, his fascination for using mathematic and scientific principles to design and solve problems shaped the course of his life. After earning his degree in aerospace engineering, he dedicated decades to advancing satellite communication. Throughout his distinguished career, he contributed to groundbreaking projects, always striving for excellence and innovation.

Devoted to Faith and Family

Rooted in his deep Christian faith, he approached life with humility, kindness and generosity, uplifting those around him with a gentle spirit and compassionate heart. His faith guided his every step and provided strength in times of both joy and sorrow.

A Legacy of Love and Learning

Beyond his professional achievements, he was a devoted spouse, parent, grandparent and friend. He delighted in sharing stories of the wonders of the universe, music, photography, sports and stories of history. He cherished family gatherings and was always eager to spend times with grandchildren, whether it be shooting off model rockets, building catapults, creating gingerbread houses, playing games or supporting athletes and beauty queens.

He loved people and was interested in everyone. He inspired all to dream big, to be kind, faithful and loving.

A Man of Many Interests

Pat had a passion for life and people. He had many and varied interests, which he pursued with excitement and determination. To list a few, Pat loved to learn, travel, photography, art, musicals, theater, Blue Grass music, exploring westward trails, hiking and scuba diving. He loved to travel for pleasure, for work and supporting Mary Ann's work. He loved and was interested in all people.
