Nancy Sharp, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025 in West Memphis, Arkansas. She was born in Marianna, Arkansas on Wednesday, March 8,1933 to Albert Sidney Carson and Vera Leatha Smith Carson.

Nancy was the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

She is survived by her sons, John Brown of Marion, Arkansas and Donald Doty (Gwenna) of West Memphis, Arkansas; daughters, Sharon McLaughlin (Zeke) of Joiner, Arkansas and Tywanna Willliams (Harell) of Wynne, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren. She had three beloved pets, Lula Belle, Larry and Kitty Tom.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Rufus Brown and Billy Doty Jr.; daughters, Diane Fitch and Cynthia Jones; five brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service honoring the life of Nancy Sharp will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Brother Bobbie Baker will officiate.
