Ronald ''Ron'' William Dressler, age 87, of Alexander passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 North, Alexander, AR 72002. Ron was born on November 14, 1937 in Momence, IL to the late Arnet Dressler and Beatrice West Dressler. Ron attended Momence High School where he played football, basketball and held conference records in track. After college in Butler where he played football, basketball and track, he spent time at a tryout camp for the St. Louis Cardinals for a pitching position. Ron served his country in the Marine Corps Reserve. Ron retired from Robert Bosch Corporation as a District Manager at the age of 56. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Bryant, AR. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Holland Dressler; daughter, Carolyn Dressler Pridemore (husband, Rick); stepson, Steven Moore (wife, Laurie); three other stepchildren and their families; grandchildren, Joshua Moore (wife, Beth) and Elizabeth Neudorf (husband, John); eight great-grandchildren; nephews, Mark Dressler and family and Kurt Dressler and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Dressler.
