Billy ''Bill'' Garland Haney, 83, of West Memphis, Arkansas departed his earthly life peacefully in his home on July 16, 2025. He was born on October 13, 1941 to William and Mammie Haney of Deering, MO.

Bill was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mammie Haney; his sisters, Gladys Lumsden, Joyce Cordova, Mary Mays and brother, Wade Bolton.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 63 years, Barbara June Haney; two sons, Gregory (Sheila) Haney and Rocky Haney; Grand children, Rockel (Greg) Renfroe. Brooke (Donald) Burch, Cameron Williams, Kyla (Braxton) Hicks, Connor Williams; Great grandchildren, Onica Taylor, Bryson Taylor, Aden Burch, Lenox Williams, Alayah Williams; Great- great grandchildren, Waylon Beier, Myles Hutchinson; His sisters, Rosie Hartwell, Patty Mohn, Hazel Jerome and Julia Morton, along with many nieces and nephews.

Billy was known for his work in the customer service industry where he managed Hotels. He retired from Otis Spunkmeyer where he made delivery routes, but his favorite job of all was being a full-time ''Papaw''.

To know Bill was such a blessing. When he wasn't spending time with the family at home, you could find him in the deer woods or out on the lake fishing. He enjoyed going on long car rides with no destination in mind with his wife, sitting on the porch with his pup Marlie and cooking Sunday lunch for the family

A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Billy Haney on Saturday July 26th from 11:00am-2:00pm at The American Legion, Post 66, in Kennet, Missouri.

Bill; Husband, Dad, Papaw, Brother and Friend, will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His legacy will live on and they will cherish him and the memories in their hearts forever.
