Curt Floyd, life-long resident of Conway, Arkansas, was called home by his Lord June 27, 2025. He was born June 11, 1953, in Conway, a son of Neil S. and Madge Ethridge Floyd, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Jones Floyd; daughters Ashley Clay (Josh) and Lindsey Floyd; sons Eric Floyd and Greg Floyd; brother Rex Floyd (Jimmy); stepmother Suzann Talbot Floyd; and grandsons C. J. Floyd, Dawson Floyd, Hunter Clay, and Barak Clay, who all called him ''Papaw''.
Curt was a Conway High School graduate, earned a business degree from the University of Central Arkansas, had a 45-year-long banking career, and retired from Centennial Bank in 2016. During his working life, he was treasurer of the Salvation Army, a Toad Suck Daze volunteer, and a member of Kiwanis, Ducks Unlimited, and the Wild Turkey Federation. He attended New Life Church in Conway.
Hobbies that Curt enjoyed included Bible study, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, family activities, hunting, fishing, and watching college football.
According to Curt's wishes, his family held a private graveside service on July 2 at Crestlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
