Honoring the beautiful life of JoAnn Clark, a beacon of joy, laughter and unconditional love. Her spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. JoAnn entered eternal rest on July 6, 2025 at the age of 77 embraced by the loving presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her celebration of life will be held on her 78th birthday, July 16, 2025 at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ricky Dovers, Eric Andrews, Michael Riba, RJ Jackson, Austin Carlisle and Jeremy Kelso. A procession will follow to Forest Hills Memorial Park (Hwy5/Alexander). Afterwards, family and friends will gather back at the church to share cherished memories and good food. JoAnn was beloved for her fun loving spirit, incredible cooking and open door hospitality. She made every gathering special, especially Thanksgiving, where her famous dressing was the star of the show. Her passions included gardening, swimming and traveling with family creating countless cherished memories along the way. Full of wit and strength, JoAnn's generosity transformed houses into warm, welcoming homes filled with love and kindness. A woman of strong opinions, JoAnn was never shy about sharing her thoughts, embodying authenticity in all she did. She was a true survivor who courageously fought to stay with her loved ones as long as possible. Her greatest desire was to provide for her family and ensure everyone felt welcome and at home in her presence. Her love of nature and the outdoors deeply influenced her children and grandchildren. JoAnn is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Tammie and Mark and Shirley; granddaughters, Dovie and Harley; great-grandchildren, RJ, Austin and Emery Faye; her brother, Edgar Dovers and many nieces, nephews and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Affectionately known as Mama Jo, she now rests in eternal peace, joyfully reunited in heaven with her late husband, Russell Clark; parents, Wayne and Marie Dovers; sisters, Betty Riba and Carolyn Andrews and brother, Bobby Dovers. As it is written in John 14: ''Let not your hearts be troubled. In my Father's house are many rooms. I go to prepare a place for you, and I will return to take you with me.'' With heavy yet hopeful hearts, we say goodbye to JoAnn, whose warmth, generosity and love will forever inspire us to cherish every moment and love deeply.
