Veckie Roberta Burns, age 64, from Hughes, Arkansas was born July 21, 1960 and passed away on June 30, 2025.

A beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Mother & Grandmother. She loved visiting family & friends. She left this world surrounded by her loved ones and those who kept her close in mind. We will love her always. We will remember everything she has ever taught us, from art to preserving food for the future. Though physically you are gone. We know spiritually, you will always surround us in a loving embrace.

She is survived by her brother, Danny Dailey of Hughes; her sisters, Bessie Dailey of Marked Tree, Katy Carter of Marked Tree; her daughter, Palmela Thomas; along with her four grandchildren, Angelica Harris, Julia Ramirez, Mirka Ramirez and Fernando Ramirez Jr. of Bay.

Veckie Roberta Burns was preceded in death by her parents, Sloan Dailey & Palmela Dailey; Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings and several friends.
