Betty Blake

Mrs. Betty Joyce Blake, 92, of Williford, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Williford. She was born on May 12, 1933 in Waterloo, Alabama to Adell and Stella (Abston) Eppes. She was married to her loving husband, Cleatus Blake, for 69 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ward Street Church of Christ. She was strong in her faith, enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was a beautiful and loving person who was always ready to offer a hug to brighten someone's day.

Betty is survived by two grandchildren, Mark Stricklin and Tammy Stricklin; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany Byrd (Kenny), Zachary Nickens and Nicholas Nickens; two great-great-grandchildren, Landon Bodkins and Cheyanne Byrd and one brother, Steve Eppes. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Sherry Stricklin and many siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Ward Street Church of Christ.
