Herbert Hulen Baker, 83, of Conway, AR passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was a devoted Husband, Dad (Pops), Papa (Pa), Brother, Uncle, Bandmate and Lifelong Friend. Herb lived a life filled with humor, singing and playing the mandolin and a truly deep love for family and friends. His kindness and closed-eyed big grin drew people in, leaving a lasting impression. Herb married his loving wife, Angie on July 3, 1971. They built a beautiful life together with two boys and one daughter. He took immense pride in the lives they built. He cherished his role as Papa (Pa) to his 5 grandchildren, Dylan A. Holbrook, Kennedy G. Baker, Andrew P. Coombs and Harper J. Coombs. He encouraged their dreams and was proud of all their accomplishments.

Herb's legacy of hard work and reliability is a testament of his character. His passions were playing his mandolin and joining the Wooten Brothers any time or place for a jam session. Baseball season you could find him watching the St Louis Cardinals or listening to them on the radio. A little-known fact is that he taught Kenpo Karate and he was a 7th Degree Black Belt.

He was a devoted Dad (Pops) to his sons, Eric Baker and Kenneth (Kenny) Baker and his daughter, Cheri Coombs.

Herb is survived by his wife, Angie Baker; brother, Joe Baker and children, Eric Baker and Cheri (Christopher) Coombs. Danny (Delores) Wooten, whom he considered his best friend. As well as many friends who he claimed as family. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Andrew Baker; brother, Lonnie Baker and his parents, Howard and Blanche Baker.

Memorial/Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, AR at 1:00 pm. All friends and family are invited to celebrate with us.
