Hazel Marie (Garms) Morehart, age 96, went to be with her Savior on June 16, 2025 in Conway, the anniversary of her marriage to her late husband 78 years ago, Clifton Allen Morehart.

Mother of Ronald Morehart (Margaret), Linda Schifferle (Norm) and Bradley Morehart (Patty). Grandmother of Melody Tobias, Misty Everett (Chad), Daniel Morehart (Beth), Phillip Stewart (Tracy) Cason Morehart (Theresa) and Zachary Schifferle (Gabrielle). Great-Grandmother of Michael Tobias, Chanel Tobias, Hazel Schifferle, Kylie Morehart, Zoe Everett, & Zane Everett. Oldest daughter of the late Ludwig Garms and Naomi (Harper) Garms and predeceased by sisters, Patsy Wilson (Louis), Margarite Holliday (Wayne) and brother, Louis Garms (Betty). She is survived by an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins & step grand & great-grandchildren.

Graduated in the 1947 class of Mabelvale High School and grew up in Crystal Valley Baptist Church where she was married. A lifelong member of the Mabelvale Methodist Church, where she received a lifetime award from the Methodist Women's Alliance group for missions work. She was a part-time postal clerk at the Mabelvale Post Office & a member of the Eastern Star.

She strove to be there emotionally and physically with everyone in her family and circle of friends and demonstrated acceptance, compassion and kindness. She loved preparing nutritious meals and bringing them to church events and family gatherings. She will always have a place in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, voluntary contributions may be made to the Mabelvale Methodist Church, 10500 Woodman St. Mabelvale, AR, where a celebration of Hazel's life will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00a.m, preceded by visitation at 10:00a.m. Burial to be at the Martin Cemetery, 9256-9342 Sibley Hole Rd, Little Rock, following the service.
