Sandra Jean Thorne, age 66, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025.

Born on March 3, 1959 in West Memphis, Sandra was a proud graduate of Bishop Byrne High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University. She built a fulfilling career at FedEx Corporation, where she worked with dedication until her retirement. She was also a greyhound trainer.

A lifelong resident of West Memphis, Sandra was a faithful member of Saint Michael Catholic Church, where her quiet strength and warm spirit were felt by all who knew her.

Sandra is survived by her three brothers, Fred Thorne (Edna), Robert Thorne (Bonnie) and John Thorne (Rebecca); her sister, Nancy Spaulding (Robert, deceased); numerous nieces and nephews as well as her dearest friend, Mary Baker. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Fredrick and Muriel Murphy Thorne.

Sandra will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to her family and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and grace that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to either Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Saint Michael Catholic Church of West Memphis.
