Mack Ross Keedy

of Cash, AR

September 26, 1919 - August 10, 2006

Mack Ross Keedy, 86, of Cash, died Thursday, August 10, at his daughter's residence.

He was born in Black Springs, Arkansas; and served as mayor of Cash for ten years and was a retired farmer. He also was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Cash Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Julia B. Barker Keedy of the home; one son Mack Lewis Keedy of Cash; four daughters, Frances Morris of Proctor, Marie Rogers of Cash, and Bettie Priddy and Taresa Blalock both of Jonesboro; two brothers, Paul Keedy of Nashville, Tennessee, and John Keedy of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Anna Mae Keedy of Indianapolis, Indiana; ten grandchildren, fiftteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Tillman Watson Keedy, one daughter Joyce Dulaney; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.

Graveside services and burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Cash Cemetery with Herbert Knight officiating.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
