Lynn Watson Linton, 95, of Hot Springs, AR passed away peacefully on June, 13, 2025. Lynn was born in Beebe, AR on October 4, 1929, to O.B.(Ollie) and Pauline Watson. After Lynn graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1947, She soon married Jack Linton and began her life as a homemaker. Throughout her life, she exemplified grace, humility, and unwavering devotion to God, her family, and church.
Lynn was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Benton for over sixty years where she taught children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was very active in the Woman's Missionary Union. She served shut-ins for more than two decades with food, company, and keeping them informed of church activities. She enjoyed singing in the ''Morning Glories'' Senior Adult Choir.
Lynn enjoyed creating a warm and loving home and supporting her family's activities. When Joyce Lynn and Karen were teenagers Lynn started a new career at Benton State Bank that lasted twenty-five years.
June 3, 2025, would have marked the 75th wedding anniversary of Lynn and Jack. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, strength, and partnership. Lynn loved traveling with Jack. They enjoyed numerous overseas, big city, and national monument trips. Many times they including family and friends on their adventures. In addition to church activities she loved making memories with her grandson Chad. She was always proud and eager to share what Chad was doing at her weekly card games with friends.
Lynn was happy and loved by the staff at Lake Hamilton Health and Rehab for the past eight years as she received care for her advancing dementia. The family expresses their heart-felt appreciation for the loving care given at LHHR.
In addition to her parents Lynn was preceded in death by husband Jack, sister Jane Watson Daniel, brother Richard Watson, nephew Tharp LeClair and great-grandson Paxton Fellers. She is survived by her daughters Joyce Lynn McHone (Ron) of Royal, AR and Karen Linton of Alexander, AR. She leaves one grandchild, Chad Owen Fellers, (Ronni) and two great grand-children Owen and Jenna. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews; Terry Daniel, Anita Jane Pfaffenberger, Cherie Linton Coghlan, Rusty Linton, Carol Linton Hall, and Becky LeClair.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the traditions we carry forward, and the love that surrounds us.
Visitation will be held at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton, AR on June 30, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. with service to follow with Frances Raley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Benton / Missions.
