Betty Lou Curtis, age 93, passed from this earth peacefully on June 5, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 2, 1932, in Little Rock, Betty lived a full life rooted in faith, family, and compassion. On August 6, 1951, she married the love of her life, Charles ''Dick'' Curtis, and together they built a legacy of love and devotion. Betty was a lifelong member of Mabelvale Church of Christ and lived her values every day with quiet strength and unwavering kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dick Curtis; her parents, Sam and Estelle Singley; her siblings Sam Singley, Sue Cardwell, Tommy Singley, and Bobby Singley; her daughter Vicky Jones; her son Terry Curtis; and her son-in-law Larry Edwards.
Betty is survived by her daughter Sherry Edwards; her son Kelly Curtis; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Riggan (Dean). She leaves behind a legacy through her cherished grandchildren: Mason Hargett (Britany), Callie Fletcher (Adam), Samantha Herbner (Travis), Blake Edwards, Elissa Romines (Brian), Audrey Villegas (Nick), and Rebekah Curtis. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Kelsey and Westin Fletcher, and Hazel, Winnie, and Wilder Romines.
A devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Betty was the heart of her family. She gave freely of herself and was a tireless caregiver to all who needed her. Her quiet grace and boundless love will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home.
