Jesse Roy Davis, Jr., of Marion, Arkansas passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on August 3, 1946 in Newport, Arkansas. Jesse was the beloved son of the late Jesse R. Davis, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Block Davis.

Jesse proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service, he went on to have a long and dedicated career with Norfolk Southern Railroad, retiring after many years of hard work and commitment. He lived in several states throughout his life before returning to Arkansas in 2003 to be closer to his family.

Jesse was a man of quiet strength and deep love for those close to him. He was an avid golfer and a cherished member of his local golf club, where he could be found on the course nearly every day. Jesse's faith was important to him and he was affiliated with Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Charlena Peters of West Memphis and Anne Shockley (Steve) of West Memphis; his niece, Heather Davis; nephews, Keith Peters (Deb), Brad Shockley (Ali) and was preceded in death by his nephew, Kevin Peters. Jesse also leaves behind great-nephew, Devin Thomas; great-nieces, Savannah Clark and Dottie Shockley and great-great-nieces and nephews, Noah Kronk, Morgan Kronk, Brandy Kronk and Bentley Thomas.

Jesse's warmth, sense of humor and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
