It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stella Mae Watts on May 26th, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born on June 5th, 1938 in Jackson County, Alabama to Herbert Anderson Stephens and Martha Jane nee Sanders. Stella later moved to Harvey, Illinois where she lived until she moved to Arkansas in 2001.

She is survived by her beloved children, Debra Secor (Bud) of Chicago, IL, Christopher Watts (Robin) of Romeoville, IL, Mitchell Watts of West Brooklyn, IL, David Watts of Marshall, AR, and Mandy Daffron (Bobby) of Little Rock, AR; her cherished sisters, Hazel Little of Knox, IN, Betty Watts of Kansas City, KS, Louise Brush of Davenport, FL, Geneva Treat of Pullman, MI, Diane Burnett of Springfield, IL; her brother Jimmy Stephens of Haines City, FL; 19 grandchildren and 12 treasured great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Martha Stephens, her husband Billy Watts, six siblings, Alvin, Alvernie, Ellis, Leonard, Herbert, one stillborn child, Lori Watts, and two grandchildren, Michael Watts and Nathan Nelson.

Stella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired, with disability, from Ball Corporation after many years of dedicated work. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her large family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Graveside services for Stella will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 2nd, 2025 at Rambo Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. James Tibbitts officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 till 5:00 PM Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall. Burial will follow the graveside service.
