John Theotis Grant, age 82, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away on May 20, 2025.
John was born in North Little Rock on October 17, 1942 to the late Mary Green and John Grant. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Grant; sisters, Janie Grant and Louise Wallace and granddaughter, Chandra Pike.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Christine Perkins; sons, Morris Credit Jr. and Samuel Credit (Jackie); daughters, Tammy Grant (Steve) Carlene Gibson, Renae Veasley (Tap) Rhonda Conley and Brenda Bankston; brothers, Michael Grant and Jimmy John Grant; along with 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; along with a host of other extended family members and friends.
John was a cook in the army where he served 6 years and was deployed to Vietnam as well as to France. He loved watching sports and coaching.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 5-7pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 9am at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
