Barbara Burch, age 92, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Ciel of Fayetteville. She was born on January 1, 1933, to John David and Edith (Peaslee) Lehman. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank J W Burch.

Barbara was a member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church and a prior long-time resident of Harrison, Arkansas, where she was active in the First Baptist Church. She married Frank J. W. Burch on July 25, 1952, and they celebrated 58 years together. She loved hiking along the Buffalo River, camping, and her church, especially the Bible studies she hosted once a month at her home for many years. She met and had many friends. She loved gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Burch of Fayetteville, Joe and Cindy Burch of Huntsville, Texas; grandsons, Colby of York, PA and Chris and Holly Long of Lakeway, Texas; and great-grandson Lennon of Lakeway, Texas.


Graveside service is 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Maplewood Cemetery.

A celebration of life service will be held on July 19, 2025, at Sang Avenue Baptist Church.
