Evelyn (Burnett) Campbell, age 101, passed away in Harrison on May 6th, 2025. Evelyn was born July 22, 1923 at Hilltop, AR, the seventh of nine children born to John and Effie (Bellamy) Burnett. She was preceded in death by her sons Allen and Howard Lee Campbell and eight siblings - Tressie, Virchie, Audra, Silva, Roger, Pansy, Leland and Lindy.

Evelyn lived in Boone County her entire life except for seven years in Fort Smith to finish High School and nurses training at St. Edward's Hospital. After World War II, she married Howard Campbell and returned to Harrison. They were married 25 years and had 5 children.

Evelyn returned to nursing in 1962 and worked for 30 years in the OB department at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. After retirement she enjoyed all church and family activities, reading her Bible, embroidery and traveling.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years and later Olvey Bible Church

She is survived by her daughter Nita Cope (Ron) of Harrison and sons Jerry Campbell of Maryland and Dan Campbell (Leslie) of Flippin as well as 12 Grandchildren- David (Kerstin) Cagle, Katie (Brian) Burger, Mandy Cope, Tammy (Britt) Scheer, Tristan Taylor, Elizabeth (Joshua) Campbell, Jerrie Anne (Matthew) Campbell, Will (Kristan) Campbell, Anita Campbell, Sarah (Ryan) Campbell, Leland (Hayli) Campbell, and Allen Campbell, as well as 23 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great Grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on May 9th in Harrison with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
