Shirley Ann Barnett

Shirley Ann Barnett 83, of Dennard, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on April 25, 2025, at her home. She was born to the late Homer and Mittie (Chalk) Archer on February 11, 1942, in Dennard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Kavin Barnett and siblings, Raymond Archer, Willie Archer, Faye Griggs Bea Eskridge, brother-in-law James Barnett and sister-in-law, Debbie Barnett.

Shirley was an active member of New Beginnings Church in Dennard playing the piano and singing. She and her husband, Charles, met on a date that stemmed from a dare that turned into getting married on credit two years later. Shirley lovingly called her husband, hey would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in June. Shirley loved her church and church family, the outdoors, taking care of her flowers and pets. She was a kind and loving lady.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Charles Barnett, son, Dwayne (Kathy) Barnett, in-laws, Anna (Thomas) Harness, Mary Archer, Thomas Barnett, Delora Barnett, several nieces, nephews, church family, extended family and friends.

Visitation services will be held from 5:00p.m. 7:00p.m, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 1:00p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pee Dee Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
