Brian Wesley Barnes of Madison, TN passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 52. He was born in Jonesboro, AR on April 11, 1972. He lived in Bono, AR until he was 10 years old. After his parents divorced, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1982. He later lived in Salt Lake City, UT and St. Paul, MN before moving to Madison in 2013. He worked in health insurance claims, and most recently had been a Medical Claims Specialist for The Little Clinic/Kroger Health since 2017 in Nashville, TN.

Brian was preceded in death by his partner of 13 years, William "Bill" Williamson; his mother, Doris Street Newberry of Dallas, GA; and his grandparents, Elmer and Jewel Barnes, and Emmett and Geneva Street, all of Bono.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Verlon W. "Jake" and Barbara Barnes of Bono; his stepfather, Kenneth Newberry of Dallas, GA; two sisters, Teena Kehr of Grayling, MI and Tracey Rodgers of Earle, AR; two brothers, Garrett Barnes of Jonesboro and Anthony Cline of Bono; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

No services are planned at this time.
