Edward Bounds, 70, of Horn Lake, MS passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 5, 2025. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm at Church Road Baptist Church, 3660 Church Road, Horn Lake, MS.

Edward was born in Memphis, TN on March 1, 1954. He worked as an electrician until retirement. He was married to Debbie Sanders Bounds for 50 years and they raised two sons and one daughter together. Edward loved restoring old cars, hunting and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edward is survived by his wife, Debbie Sanders Bounds of Horn Lake; son, Danny (Melissa) Bounds of Horn Lake; daughter, Andrea (Todd) Mullen; son, Joseph (Stephanie) Bounds of Southaven and grandchildren, Cody, Colton and Caitlynn Bounds of Horn Lake, Matthew and Anna Mullen of Olive Branch, MS and Chandler, Emmarie and Caleb Bounds of Southaven, MS.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Bounds Bell and Jeff Edward Bounds.
