Ann Long, born on March 17, 1950 in Monette, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025 in Berryville, Arkansas. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.O. Long, as well as her parents, Harvey and Sula Merriman, three sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, each with their own special memories of her. For over 50 years, Ann was a devoted member of New Horizons Church of God in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Her faith and dedication to the Lord were central to her life, bringing her great peace and guiding her every step. Ann had a love for life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her chihuahua, Allie, who was always by her side. She delighted in sharing meals with loved ones, celebrating the Christmas season and reading. She was a passionate collector of various treasures, including clocks, Coca-Cola memorabilia, Cabbage Patch dolls and Hallmark ornaments. Ann had a larger-than-life presence and a loving heart.
She left a lasting impression on each and every one of us and will be deeply missed.
Pallbearers are David Wallis, JR Merriman, Larry Merriman, Chad Mooney, Jason Bentley and Larry Merriman II.
Visitation for Ms. Long will be Sunday, January 12th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home with Darrell Merriman officiating. Burial will follow at Kirby Tucker Cemetery in Mountain Home.
