John Alan Murdock, 80, of Little Rock passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024. He was born July 6, 1944 in Atlanta, Texas to Felton Murdock and Maxine Addington and also Ozro Addington. He held a doctorate of pharmacy, having worked many years and was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as Judy Hamilton and Lauren Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Jackson Murdock of the home; a son, Joe Murdock (Teri); a daughter, Shelley McMahon, son; Matthew Duncan; grandchildren, Aaryn Strain (Caleb), Joe Murdock (Jacie), James Lepone (Anna), Pat McMahon, Aidan McMahon and Myla McMahon, Savannah Duncan and Madison Duncan; two sisters, Edye Quinney and Rena Addington; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00PM at Spring Hill Cemetery, located in Naples, Texas with arrangements by Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home of Benton.
