Nelma Jane Banister, 85, of Conway, Arkansas passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024. She was born on May 24, 1939 to the late Willie Ford and Othie Pate Ford.

Jane left this earth to join her parents; her husband, Howard Banister; her son, Ben Ford; her daughter, Sue Banister-Watson; her brother, Troy "Wendell" Ford; her sister, Jean Banks and her granddaughter, Brandi Kregger.

Mamaw, as we all knew her, is survived by her daughters, Lynette Ritter and Sharon Ford (Ben); one sister, Grace Heffington; her granddaughters, Heather Crawford (Tommy) and Amie Hollis (Jon) and her grandsons, Scott Ford, Tyler Stansel and Chuck Kregger (Brandi).

More than life itself Mamaw loved her four great-grandkids and her three great-great- grandkids…and one in the oven!

She had so much love for all her family, friends and the amazing staff at Superior Nursing Home and Gentiva Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:00am.
