Patsy Jean Duncan-Meharg

Patsy ''Pat'' Jean Duncan Meharg, age 92, of Searcy, Arkansas went home to her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 10, 2024 peacefully at her home in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She was born April 8, 1931 to the late Claude and Stella in Memphis, Tennessee.
Pat was one of three children who grew up in Searcy, Arkansas. She graduated from Searcy High School. Patsy was raised by loving parents, Claude and Stella, who adopted and loved her as their own and instilled in her the small-town values of love, caring, faithfulness, dependability, kindness and being the neighbor you want next door. She loved and married two men faithfully till death do them part, she loved and supported her family through good and challenging times, was a true, trustworthy and fun friend and held true to her faith in God, trust in Jesus and embracing the Holy Spirit in her life. A daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and a friend that lived a long and wonderful life that we celebrate because of the life she gave back to us. We will miss her, we will cherish her and we will live our lives knowing that a part of Patsy lives on in us.
Pat met Roland Duncan in Crosby, Arkansas. They had three children, Ronnie, Dana and Sheila. Pat had four grandchildren, Amanda Baublet, Michael Nelson, Payton Duncan and Cole Duncan. She had two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Max Baublet. Roland sadly passed away from an illness on June 23, 1978.
Pat met Jerry Meharg in Searcy, Arkansas in 1983. They married in 1986 and were married for 38 years. Pat had three stepchildren, Belinda Weinbrenner, Jerry Meharg and Angela Meharg. She had several step grandchildren, Carmen Martin, Matthew Caro, Brittany D'shae, Tosha Waters, Darris Waters, Brandt Meharg, JT Meharg and Cody Meharg, Morgan Caro, Elijah Weinbrenner, Keaton Weinbrenner. She also had several step great and great-great grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her husband, Jerry Meharg; three children, Ronnie Duncan and his wife, Becky, Dana Duncan and Shelia Duncan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ronald Duncan and sisters, Olita Crain and Carolyn Elliot.
Jerry and Pat enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. She was a great cook. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and faithfully attended Foster's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. They moved to Greenbrier, Arkansas in 2021 to be closer to family. Pat enjoyed family barbeques, sitting outdoors on the porch and visiting with friends and family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dog, Levi the chihuahua.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM Thursday, February 15, 2024 followed by the service at Foster's Chapel MBC, Searcy, Arkansas. Interment will be at White County Memorial Gardens.
