Johnny Hayes Shadell, 76, of Mayflower departed this earth on January 26, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Johnny was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Hayes Shadell and Dorothy Roberts Shadell on February 7, 1947. Johnny was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Mays Shadell; a brother, Ray Shadell and a granddaughter, Destiny Shadell.

At the age of 17, Johnny joined the United States Army. He proudly served his country with honor, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a heavy equipment operator, welder and professional truck driver. Johnny enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Westerns and reminiscing about the past.

Johnny received the Holy Ghost and was baptized at Northside Apostolic Church in Mayflower, Arkansas in 2005.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stacy (Bo), Misty (Chris), Leon and Johnny ''JR'' (Amy); a brother, DeWayne (Debbie); a sister, Dottie (Nathan); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.

There will be a Memorial Service for Johnny at Oasis Church, 207 Highway 64, Conway, Arkansas on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00pm.
