Warren Lawrence McElroy, 88, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 15, 2023. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Terry) and Ron (Beth). Warren also leaves his 6 grandchildren, Madison (Joe), Mallory, Mariah, Hunter (Staci), Emily (Matthew) and Sophie (Keith), and 3 great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Hayes, and James. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bobbie Lee Custer McElroy; his parents, Ward Leach McElroy and Zorine Bryant McElroy and brother, Robert McElroy.

Warren was a 1952 graduate of Little Rock Technical High School and served in the Arkansas National Guard, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a long-time employee of the Timex Corporation, beginning his career as a master machinist and retiring as plant superintendent. Warren enjoyed his many years working at the Arkansas State Fair Grounds as a licensed, commissioned security officer. Most recently, Warren worked for Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. Warren took great pride in his family and doted on his grandchildren. Warren was a long-time member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis.
