Tommy "Tom" Lee Everett

of Mountain View, AR

June 17, 1955 - October 29, 2023

Tommy Lee Everett of Mountain View passed from this life unexpectedly on October 29, 2023 at his home. Tom was born June 17, 1955 to Samual Denzil and Vada Ruth Everett in Kansas City, MO and spent his childhood in Independence, MO until 1969, when his family moved back to their hometown of Mountain View, AR. Tom graduated high school in 1973 and began his construction career with his father. He also worked at the Dulcimer Shop for several years, and then opened his picture framing shop "Main Street Gallery". In 2003 he returned to his passion of carpentry and continued that until the day of his passing.

Tom was a family man. When he was not working, he spent his time with his family having dinner, watching movies, or attending special events for his loved ones. He had a special place in his heart for his grandbabies. He enjoyed gardening, working in the shop, and staying busy. Not only was he a family man, his impact on the Mountain View community was immeasurable. In addition to the services he provided to our local residents and businesses, he was a vital part of the planning and establishment of the Stone County Community Center. The long hours and hard work Tom put into the SCCC was not only something he enjoyed doing, but something he knew others would get to enjoy. He was a giver, and a generous, caring man who would give the shirt from his back if someone needed it. He will be remembered for his kind heart and a sense of humor like no other.

He is survived by his wife & soul mate of 20 years, April Dawn Everett; sons, Michael (Tammy), Keith (Sarah), Tyler (Elizabeth), and daughter Victoria (Ashley); sisters; Linda Allcorn and Sandy Prichard (Bill); mother-in-law Debbie Williams; 10 grandchildren, Haley Bachusz (Daniel), Dawson Everett (Kaylee), Ashton Edgin, Summer Edgin, Abbey Edgin, Casey Edgin, Brooklyn Everett, Kaylin Rose, Alex Sceifres and Nicholas Everett; three great-grandchildren with one on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.

Tom is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Sam Denzil Everett and Mildred Everett, as well as his mother, Vada Ruth, father-in-law Paul R. Williams, and brother-in-law, Larry Allcorn.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, Nov. 2nd. Funeral services will be at 10am Friday, Nov. 3rd both being held at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at Case Cemetery.

Pallbearers are sons Mike, Keith & Tyler, grandson Dawson, nephew Andrew Allcorn, and Dwight Treadway. Honorary Pallbearers are Royce Carpenter, Daniel Bachusz, Steve Dobbins, Dan Stewart, LD Everett, and (Uncle) Bill Prichard.
