Andrew Clayton Killough

of Conway, AR

March 8, 2002 - September 1, 2023

Andrew Clayton Killough, 21, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, September 1, 2023. He was born March 8, 2002 in Conway to Josh Killough and D.D. Simpson. Andrew was preceded in death by his amazing Uncle Clayton Killough; treasured Grandfather, Gary Sirk; treasured Maternal Grandfather, Don Stobaugh; the best big brother, Tanner Killough; his brother from another mother, Drake Shaw and his beloved Dad, Josh Killough.

Drew graduated in 2020 from Vilonia High School. Received a dual scholarship to Crowder College in Joplin, Missouri, then moved on to Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas as a left-handed pitcher. He had a passion for baseball and loved the outdoors, hunting, shooting ducks, hunting for big bucks and fishing out of his boat. He had big goals to strengthen his body and his arm in hopes of becoming a professional pitcher. After his leg gave out on him, he had plans to return to college, help with the baseball team and graduate. He wanted to become a baseball coach and role model. He always said he wanted a big family with four kids. When asked, his pallbearers described him as selfless, loyal, loving, protector and the life of the party. Someone who brings strength and happiness and shows the appearance of a warrior with an undescribed soft love. A brother and achiever, one who could not bear to let anyone down. One that never failed to give light to anything and anyone he touched. If you wanted one guy on your team, he was your best bet. One of a kind, the most genuine, wholesome and welcoming person you have ever met with a contagious smile. Courageous, adventurous, daring, loving, caring and selfless all describe Drew. Like a missing piece to the group, he completed us all. One whose perseverance is to be admired, he always said there was purpose in the pain. His faith for God's will over his life never wavered and only grew evidently stronger.

Drew is survived by his Faithful and Loving Mother, D.D. Simpson; Second dad, Erik Simpson; favorite little brother, Zack Simpson; Maternal Grandmother, Kay Stobaugh; Paternal Grandmother, Debra Sirk; Paternal Grandfather, Kevin Killough; Grandmother, Donajo Simpson and Grandfather, Larry Simpson. Aunts, Kristin Stobaugh and Lisa Scroggins (Brent Scroggins). Cousins, Brooklyn Vardaman, Kate Scroggins, Max Scroggins, Van Vardaman and Jordon Stobaugh Baggett.

Pallbearers are Austin Banks, Austin LeJune, Hunter Wooldridge, Jordon Cullum, Kyle Bass, Luke Wilson, Nick Simon and Ragan Mayor.
