of Lexa, AR

January 14, 2004 - August 31, 2023

Carson Kane Walker, age 19, passed from this life on August 31st, 2023. Carson was born on January 14, 2004 to Danette Walker of Lexa and Tony Byrd of Helena. Carson was lovingly raised by his maternal grandparents, Donna and JayBock Rohrscheib of Lexa.

From birth, Carson was a fighter having his first open heart surgery at just six weeks old. As Carson turned one year old, he had his second open heart surgery. He grew into a happy, loving toddler. At the age of 13, Carson underwent a third open heart surgery.

Carson began his school years at Marvell Academy in the K4 program and continued there until he graduated in 2022. His love of sports helped him excel as a wide receiver for the MA Eagles, where he proudly wore the number 10 jersey. One of Carson's favorite activities was watching the Arkansas Razorback football games with his beloved "Bock".

In addition to sports, Carson loved listening to music and strumming on his guitar. He would often say, "Hey, Nonna, listen to these lyrics".

In the winter months, he enjoyed deer hunting with his Papaw Dan.

As much as Carson enjoyed these activities, none brought him as much joy as being a big brother to Bella. Their sibling bond was a deeply loving and protective one.

On September 2, 2012, Carson accepted Christ and by baptism, made First Baptist Church of Marvell his church home.

He is survived by his mother, Danette Walker of Lexa, Arkansas and father, Tony Byrd of Helena, Arkansas; one sister, Bella Walker of Lexa, Arkansas; grandparents, Donna and JayBock Rohrscheib of Lexa, Arkansas; Great grandmother, Baby Jo Culp; a Special cousin, Casey Wilburn that he looked up to and his girlfriend, Kynsley Wooten.
