Linda Ellen (Holzman) Henson

Linda Ellen (Holzman) Henson, 85, a lifelong resident of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Paris. She was born on May 2, 1938 in Paris to her parents, France and Marie (Carper) Holzman.

Linda began her career in 1956 working as a secretary for Farm Bureau. She later worked in several grocery stores including Safeway and the Piggly Wiggly in Fort Smith and Kroger and Town and Country in Paris. Linda's love for art motivated her to open Henson's Ceramic Shop, which she operated for several years in Paris. She loved to garden, spend time with her family, especially her granddaughters and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hursel Henson; daughter and son in law, Misty and Jim Johnson; granddaughter, Shae Johnson; step son, Matt Henson; sister, Patricia ''Trish'' Mainer and two brothers, Jody Holzman and Doug Holzman.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Schluterman and husband, Andy of Paris; one son, Bobby Buck and wife, Lisa of Ozark; two step daughters, Michele White and husband, Bill of Fort Smith and Heather Dronet of Paris; one sister, Velda Burns of Oklahoma City; numerous grandchildren including, Krista Meador, Katelyn Schluterman, Tess Robison, Dylan Farnam and Able Henson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with the funeral beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Paris, officiated by Rev. Harlin Brewton. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Andy Schluterman, Kyle Mainer, Cat Sampley, Bill Culver and the Gattis Brothers.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Area on Aging nurses, Kendra, Kasey, Kayla, Farah, Kymber and Haylee and Chaplain Ben on their outstanding care.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Willhite, her Sunday School Class, the ladies at Danielle's Salon and Ladora Smith.
