Carol Ann Cox Appleby, 53, passed away on April 18, 2023. She was born on October 26, 1969 to James and Linda Cox in Forrest City. Carol was a member of Shell Lake Baptist Church. Mimi, as she was known to her grandchildren, loved to spend time with her grandbabies, as well as having a good meal followed by a even better nap.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack Appleby; her son, Jason Brazile; her daughter, Kristen Gilliam (Derek); three grandchildren, Gracie Ann Stapler, Layton Taylor Gilliam and Harper Ray Gilliam; her brother, James Cox ( Jessica) and sister, Donna Rose (Ray).

Her father preceded her in death.

The family has chosen to have a celebration of life ceremony at a later date.
